CARING FOR CHILDREN HERE IN MONTANA — St. Vincent Healthcare is embarking on a bold vision for pediatric care. St. Vincent Children's Healthcare is an initiative to improve access to, and the quality of, healthcare for children throughout Montana, northern Wyoming and beyond. We are enormously encouraged by the great strides St. Vincent Children's Healthcare has made since 2008. Prior to 2008, more than 300 children each year were transported to pediatric hospitals in Denver and Salt Lake City when they suffered an acute illness or injury. In fact, Denver Children's Hospital was the 4th highest paid Medicaid hospital in Montana in 2006 due to the large number of children flown out of state for medical care. With the establishment of Montana and Wyoming's only full-scale pediatric intensive care unit, children are now healing close to home. Indeed, a great majority of the children who would have been transported out of state are now cared for right here at St.Vincent Healthcare. A number of new pediatric sub-specialists create amazing support for our region's most fragile children. It is only through visionary philanthropy that we will accomplish our quest to provide the highest quality of care to the children of our region. Please help us continue to create an environment of healing that wraps around every critically ill and injured child who enters our ministry.

THE SVH FRONTIER CANCER CARE COLLABORATIVE...WHERE THE FUTURE BEGINS — Recently St. Vincent Healthcare announced the establishment of the St. Vincent Healthcare Frontier Cancer Center which is a state-of-the-art outpatient regional cancer treatment center in Billings. In addition, St. Vincent Healthcare is investing over $5m in philanthropic support in the Cody, Wyoming cancer treatment center. World class cancer treatment and care for all of our region's cancer patients is our focus at St. Vincent Healthcare.

As we aspire to provide world class care we must continue to move forward with improved inpatient facilities and regional cancer services. Our community has a history of generosity and medical care. As a result St. Vincent Healthcare has been able to provide quality healthcare services close to home for many years. Today our plan is to raise funds to fully renovate the current cancer care healing environment on 3rd Fortin. New generation inpatient rooms will offer a nurturing environment making it easier for our cancer patients to receive essential support and assistance from family and friends. Flexible treatment facilities will also allow family members to stay with the patient during care and room-side nursing stations will enable the medical team to maximize their time with patients. Additionally, philanthropic support will be necessary to expand the broad range of world class care at St. Vincent Healthcare through expanded research, patient navigation and patient family support.

We thank the physicians, staff, and our community of donors for their continued support and for their commitment to providing the best faith-based care possible.

The Healing Power of a Loving, Healing Environment Cannot Be Expressed Enough

Campaign Reaches Initial Goal - $2,500,000

With the generous support of our campaign leadership team and the generous donor/investors in the $6 million Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence Project we are proud to announce we have reached our initial campaign goal of $2.5 million and remain on track to open the first Hybrid Operating Room in our region by January 2014. The Hybrid OR Suite will significantly advance heart and vascular care for our region, keeping our loved ones close to home!

A special thank you to the many supporters of the 34th annual SAINTS Gala which was held on October 6, 2012. The 2012 SAINTS event benefited the heart and vascular initiative and netted more than $1,000,000, setting a new fundraising record for the event.

TRANSFORMING ORTHOPEDIC CARE — For more than 113 years, St. Vincent Healthcare has been recognized as the region's premier hospital for Orthopedic Medicine. The Orthopedic Center of Excellence is an $8.4 million initiative to expand and transform St. Vincent Healthcare's 5 Fortin and 5 Tower to meet the growing demands of orthopedic care in our region.

Campaign Reaches Goal - $2,000,000

The 5 Tower Joint Replacement Center was opened on July 31, 2012, offering the only dedicated Joint Replacement Center in our region. In January of 2013 we completed the 2nd phase of this project and opened the patient and family orthopedic lobby and three large patients rooms on 5 Fortin. Phase three is currently underway to enhance the remaining 25 orthopedic patient rooms on 5 Fortin.

A special thank you to our campaign leadership team and the numerous donors that have invested their time, talents and financial resources to ensure the success of this campaign to provide a warm and welcoming orthopedic experience to our patients and families.
